I just had my first quilt actually quilted at "Experience the Quilt", and am so pleased with the results. In the past I have tied my quilts, but this one was a gift - and it fits a king-size bed - and I decided to go with quilting this time. I found Amy at Experience the Quilt and am so glad I did! The workmanship is excellent, and she helped me select the color thread and the design. Good thing, there are so many choices as I was at a loss. The making of my quilt was unique in that the individual receiving the quilt has special needs and he’s moving with his dad from their home of 25 years. His mother passed away 4 years ago and we wanted to create something special that Jack could wrap up in every night to remember his mother. Goal accomplished & far exceeded my expectations! When I brought the quilt home Dave had tears! This is something truly special created by incredibly giving people at Experience the Quilt! I highly encourage anyone that is thinking of doing this…. I have to say this is the most warm and beautiful artwork.   I have an amy carter original hanging in our living room.  It is of the star of Bethlehem at christs birth and it brings such peaceful emotions our whole family and all our visitors comment and love the feelings it brings.
